Step 1
You need to order a set of (6) washing cleaning cartridges SPC-0335 from your local dealer.
Step 2
Check that the ink bottle is fully empty before commencing procedure.

Make sure machine is turned on. Press 'FUNCTION' Scroll to 'MAINTENANCE' press 'ENTER' then scroll to 'HEAD WASH' then press 'ENTER'

Then you follow the LCD prompts. 'WASH & REMOVE CARTRIDGES' Once all the cartridges are removed it will automatically start cleaning out the remaining ink from the lines of the printer.
Step 5
Once step 4 has been completed it will then ask to 'SET CLEANING TOOL' once this prompt is displayed it is time to load the Washing Cartridges. Once all 6 cartridges are loaded it will automatically start flushing the lines.
Step 6
Once it has finished its first cycle of flushing the lines, it will stop and ask 'REMOVE CARTRIDGES' once removed, it will then automatically start flushing again. ( there is no need to remove the cartridges fully from the machine because you will be using them again, as long as the cartridges have released from the pin).
Step 7
Once finished, it will ask again to 'SET CLEANING TOOL' load cartridges back into printer, it then starts another flushing cycle.
Step 8
Once cycle is finished, it will stop and ask 'REMOVE CARTRIDGES' to do its last final flush. (you now can fully remove cartridges from the printer).
Step 9
Once cycle is finished, it will default back to maintenance mode which indicates that the washing process is complete. Now your printer is ready for the shutdown period, turn the printer off from the printer and disconnect from the power outlet.
Step 10
You are back at work and ready to get your printer back into production. Reconnect power to your printer and turn printer on.

Check that the ink bottle is fully empty before commencing next step.

Once the printer is on it will ask 'SET A CARTRIDGE' it is time to put your existing cartridges back into printer, once all six cartridges are loaded into printer it will automatically do a fill-up. Once completed you are now ready to get printer, do a test print to check heads firing etc. You may need to do a strong clean if there is a problem with your test print. Washing Cartridges SPC-0335 - One set of cartridges will provide 2-3 washes, the fluid in the cartridges can also be used for general cleaning of printer: eg: around capping station etc.
