The head height adjustment mechanism enabling plotting to thick materials with stepless adjustment for up to 7mm thickness. Tx2-1600 comes with the position stick which easily determines the head height position.

Tx2-1600 can mount ink variations for a total of 8 colours including 4 basic colours (CMYK) and 4 special colours. Ink that suits your application can be selected from reactive, acid and disperse dye ink variations.

8-Colour Multi-Head Enabling Switching Between 1-Way and 2-Way Print Modes

Tx2-1600 uses an 8-colour multi head with a front
and rear rank stagger arrangement.
The front and rear rank heads have independent
ink supply systems for each, allowing selection of the 1-way print mode using ink of the same type or the 2-way print mode using ink of a different types.

Unique Feed Mechanism

The drive roller and friction roller allow for a constant tension of the fabric, enabling plotting to fabrics without any liner sheet (backing sheet). Ink penetrating the fabric is received by the ink ditch to allow plotting on a coarse textured fabric. The fabric retainer hold both edges of the fabric prevent contact of the print head to the fabric.

Anti-Meandering loading device

The fabric retainer is can be used for thicknesses of up to 5.5mm.
The ink ditch can be washed with water. Waste ink and washed-up ink in the ink ditch is collected in the waste ink tank.

Tx2-1600 employs the loading devics which minimizes meandering of the cloth by detecting the edge of a roll of fabric with and edge sensor and moving it from side to side. Stable fabric feed is possible even if the edge of the roll fabric is not aligned.

Easy to use operation panel

The two row back lit display panel provides a legible and substantial display for any environment. To improve operability, the TEST, CLEANING, and DATA CLEAR keys frequently used are aranged at the top of the key layout.

Automatic take-up device as standard

Tx2-1600 is provided with the automatic take-up device as standard
which

takes up the printed fabric with a constant tension, enabling night operation and other unattended plotting.
Tx2-1600 is also comes with an additional roll holder for setting up a slip sheet for preventing ink penetration.

High Speed Printing

The newly developed high-speed print head prints at speeds up to about 5 times faster (compared to Mimaki TX-1600S in 1-way print mode), dramatically increasing potential abilities from sample creation to small lot production.

IEEE1394 port

The IEEE1394 port is equipped as the interface for data reception from a personal computer. This interface allows for high speed large capacity data transmision without interrupting the Tx2-1600 even while plotting in the highest speed.
